I first used CPM Painting for my personal home. Kevin was one of the only painters that returned my phone call. He did great work and and had wonderful customer service. I used him once more for my bathroom where the walls were completely torn up due to peeling wallpaper off. I was amazed at how well he made the walls look. Absolutely Excellent Quality and Service! Painting is 90% prep work, and that’s really the most important part of the project. Kevin Cook and his colleague did a ridiculously amazing job of prep work and finish work. Our house is a challenge: 36 years old, all wood, Cypress siding, 30-year-old complex original deck, complex house lines and woodwork, and complex custom architectural window design. We required a lot of wood replacement work and prep work, replacement of a fair bit of (now relatively rare) Cypress siding, replacement of deck pieces and pergola over deck. Where wood was not replaced, it was sanded everywhere – down to bare wood in many places, then primed, then 2 coats of paint were applied, then windows cleaned, then meticulous touch up. None of our complexities were in any way a challenge for Kevin, and he was cheerful about all of it. Never a sigh. Always a smile. (Not that it matters that much, but it shows how skilled and capable he is.) I’d challenge anyone to find a painter who will give this much attention to detail. You won’t be able to. Very reliable and a great communicator. A great individual too. This work is going to last a very long time. Flawless. This review may seem suspicious because it is so superlative, but I’m in my 60’s and have interacted with a lot of contractors, and this is an honest, factual review. He’s far above the fold. I first used CPM painting when I bought my house 11 years ago ... and then again when it needed to be re-caulked. When it came time to repaint, I dug through a lot of papers to find their name so that I could use them again. I wasn't disappointed. Kevin and his crew gave a fair and thorough estimate. They scheduled my house at a convenient time and showed up right on time the first day. They went about their work in a friendly and professional manner. Our experience with this company was stellar. The estimate process was extremely clear and simple to understand. It was even customizable in case we wanted to cut some small costs here/there. The job was completed in the time frame that was quoted and the quality was excellent. MORE IMPORTANTLY the 5 star review was earned when we had an issue with a product that didn't hold up well on our staircase. I called, and immediately someone came out and repainted and used a higher end product to ensure the quality and longevity was there.
